The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has pledged to ensure that Nigerian students evacuated from war-torn Sudan are seamlessly integrated into the country’s universities. Speaking in Abuja during a visit by the Chairwoman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, JAMB Registrar Ishaq Oloyede stated that the board would provide necessary infrastructure and enablement to accommodate or return the students to the educational system in Nigeria. He urged the affected students to follow the transfer procedures for Nigerian universities, including medical students who would be moved to the 500 level if assessed by the Medical and Dental Council.
