The Nigerian Institute of Management Chartered (NIM) has partnered with the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) to enhance capacity building and improve the quality of professional managers in Nigeria. With the aim of training and certifying as many qualified persons as possible as professional managers, the partnership was brokered during a courtesy visit by the Statistician-General of the federation. The President of NIM, Ms. Atako, lauded the NBS for its sponsorship of 50 members of its staff to the NIM Intensive Training for Membership Admission (ITMA) program in 2022. She called for a more robust relationship between the two organizations and urged the NBS to participate in various NIM programs. The Statistician-General promised to partner more with NIM in identified areas, citing the knowledge he gained from participating in the NIM ITMA program as immensely helpful.
