Covenant University and OBTranslate Partner on AI, language translation device
Covenant University and OBTranslate, a subsidiary of OpenBinacle Group, have joined forces to conduct research and development activities in machine translation, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and linguistics. The partnership seeks to further enhance the “OBTranslate” machine translation and generative AI platform, which currently supports over 2,000 African and European languages. Through this collaboration, OBTranslate aims to provide free-text and document translation, speaker devices, smartphones, and humanoid robots that understand and preserve African and European languages from extinction. This partnership is an exciting opportunity to expand the knowledge frontier in Africa and bridge language barriers.
