Mallam Adamu Adamu, the Minister of Education, has lost his mother, Hajiya Fatima Adamu Baaba, to death.
The woman died in the early hours of Friday at the age of 109.
Mr. Ben Goong, Director of Press of the ministry, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday in Abuja, said the deceased is survived by six children: three males and three females.
She was buried on Friday at Azare in Bauchi State in accordance with Islamic rites.
