Lagos extends BECE registration deadline amidst network woes and cash crunch
The Lagos Ministry of Education has announced the extension of the deadline for registration and payment of the 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) from April 14 to April 28. The decision was made to accommodate the difficulties faced by schools in the wake of the current economic situation and poor network services, as well as the Central Bank of Nigeria’s cashless policy. The Lagos State Examinations Board has urged all affected schools to take advantage of this extension to register their candidates, as no excuses will be entertained after the new deadline.
