The Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN) revealed on Monday that it raked in a whopping N441 million from tickets sold across the country in March. Despite the challenges of the cash crunch and the presidential and National Assembly elections which impacted sales in February, CEAN’s total sales for March were encouraging. CEAN’s national chairman, Opeyemi Ajayi, announced the figures in Lagos, noting that 174,071 viewers gained admission to cinemas throughout the federation during the period. For April, movie lovers can look forward to exciting titles such as Super Mario Bros, Domitila, Bloomboys, Honey Money, Renfield, and The Pope’s exorcist.
