In Yobe, over 2,200 civil servants have taken the 2023 promotion examination. Garba Bilal, the Head of Service for Yobe State, oversaw one of the examination centers on Sunday in Damaturu, and emphasized that the examination was designed to improve civil servants’ productivity and efficiency, while also keeping them informed of modern innovations in the civil service.
Mr. Bilal was pleased with the examination process across the three centers located in the three senatorial districts of the state. He also stated that Governor Mai Mala Buni had created a conducive environment to encourage civil servants to do their best, adding that the governor had taken into account the needs of civil servants in the state, with additional welfare packages being planned.
