Over 5,000 classrooms have been lost by Bornu State to insurgency. This was disclosed by the state governor Prof Babagana Zulum.
Prof Zulum made the revelation during a visit to Zamfara state in solidarity with governor Bello Matawale over the recent activities of bandits in the Northwest state.
The municipal infrastructure destroyed by terrorists include police stations, traditional ruler’s houses and local government Secretariats, among others.
