Ahmed Saheed, a biology teacher at Army Children High School, Epe, was killed by one of his students at about 7. 10 PM on Friday November 19, 2021.
Saheed, who was also know as World Morgan by friends and colleagues where he sells home appliances at the popular Poka area of Epe, was said to have been trailed by the student on a motorbike before pulling the trigger.
It was learnt that Saheed had punished the student in the school for violating an undisclosed rule of the school, but the boy, who is said to be a member of a secret cult had vowed that he will deal with the teacher.
Saheed, who had since been buried according to the Islamic rites, was said to be the only child of his parents. He is survived by his wife, parents and two children.
Report has it that the suspect has been arrested by the police.
