The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has publicly deny the claims that the Board is recruiting invigilators for the 2021 UTME/DE. JAMB stated that some criminal elements are behind the rumour of recruiting invigilators on behalf of the Board .
Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the Head, Public Affairs, JAMB, in a statement explained that the scammers are requesting the payment of N5,000 acceptance fee payable to the syndicate.
Benjamin pointed out that the term “invigilator” is alien to the Board’s operations and counseled Nigerians to be wary of anybody purporting there are vacancies to be filled.
“Many dubious individuals have cultivated the habit of placing different kinds of advertorials for one service or another in the name of the Board without authorization”, he warned.
The umpire body promised to make known and transparently too any process for recruitment for permanent or ad-hoc staff.
Benjamin moreover, urged Nigerians not to lose their hard-earned resources on the premise of securing non-existing jobs with the examination body.
