Katsina State University, also known as Umaru Musa Yaradua University matriculated 2336 students on Friday, February,5, 2021, at the Dutsinma Road complex of the school for the 2020/2021 academic session.
Professor Sunusi Mamman , the Vice chancellor charged the Matriculating Students to double their efforts by facing their studies seriously to justify government’s investment in the education sector.
Prof. Mamman made this call while addressing the newly admitted students.
Moreover, he further cautioned the students desist from any act capable of breaching the relative peace being enjoyed on the campus and also to adhere strictly to the university dress code and other rules meant to give them an environment for a better learning.
The Vice Chancelor went on to enumerate the laudable projects his administration had executed within his first 100 days in office, and promised to do more bearing in mind the need to ensure a conducive learning environment for the students.
Mamman promised to sink more boreholes to provide adequate portable water for the entire university community.
