The organisers of the Annual Nigeria Prize for Literature/ Science and Literary Criticism has announced that the 2020 edition of the award has been postponed.
The postponement was made at a virtual conference on Friday by the organisers, who cited the COVID-19 pandemic for the decision.
The prize cycle planned for this year – poetry -will come up next year.
The prize, a yearly award that runs concurrently and worth $100,000, which is sponsored by NLNG has been on since 2004.
