The Lagos Government has declared that it will sanction any private school owner inviting students to school, as the act violates its directive to all schools to shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, the Director-General, Lagos State Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA), said any school caught would be penalised.
In other to ensure compliance, the Office of Education Quality Assurance Monitoring and Investigation team is already embarking on compliance monitoring exercise across the state simultaneously to ensure that schools adhere to this directive.
The OEQA advises the public to reach it on info@oeqalagos.com or report@oeqalagos.com for further enquiries on the issue.
