Edo University, Iyamho has announced the promotion of three of its staff to the rank of professors.
Professor Emmanuel Aluyor, Vice Chancellor of the institution, who made the announcement in a statement by Betcher Ekhosuhun, the Public Relations Officer of the institution, said the promotions were approved by the institution’s Senate during the recent virtual Senate meeting.
The promoted staff are Dr. Simon Olufemi Abifarin of the Department of Public and International Law; Dr. David Umoru of the Department of Economics and Dr. Dawood Omolumen Egbefo of the Department of History & International Studies.
